When drawn, this card is not a warning, rather a reminder to enjoy the passion and the excitement of those first moments, before you need worry about facing the struggles that will inevitably present themselves along the way. It’s about exploring new possibilities, embracing change, and maintaining the momentum of positivity and hope. Normally the fool is depicted as a traveler with a bindle, about to step off a cliff with a wide grin, here instead I drew them as an artist - with one hand on a cello and the other painting dollar bills on a canvas, fantasizing about the success that awaits them and feeling the joy of inspiration and potential… all the while the ground beneath them burns up in flames.
